Race To MVP

April 05 2008

1.Chirs Paul

Sorry for the long break guys, but during the long break, I have been thinking hard and so decided to change my leader for this week's Rave To MVP. Firstly, New Orleans are top of the messy Western Conference although David West is slowing down. Reason? Chirs Paul. He have been averaging double-doubles in almost every game nowadays. Today, he averaged 33 pts, 15 assists and 4 rebounds. He's playing better than this at some times.

2.Kobe Bryant

The Lakers are dropping slowly in the tight Western Conference. There are now in 3rd place, together with the Spurs. Kobe have not been averaging his best too. Luckily for him, those under him are doing the same too. i still remembered their defeat to the Gasol-es Memphis.

3.Kevin Garnett

I watch his game against New Orleans that day. He had fantastic shooting percentage, an alley-oop dunk and a monstrous dunk after getting the offensive rebound. Other than that, Boston are now the only team this season to beat every, I mean EVERY single team in the NBA. That's all thanks to? KG.

4.Amare Stoudemire

Amare is averaging monsterly after the all-star break, even better after Shaq came. Did you know that he averaged 29.3 points and 9.8 boards in the past two months? Scorring 41 and 14 boards against Denver that day? What about 38 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks and 20-20 from the free throw line against my favourite team, Houston? Have you heard all this? He should be top right?

5.LeBron James

To be honest with you, this guy is playing poorly. After the trade that brought Big Ben and the guys here, Cleveland have been playing poorly. LeBron assist and rebound have been dropping drasticly too. He was also held to 13 points that day against bla-bla to end his streak of scoring over 20 points in every game. Yesterday the Cavs suffered defeat again. Whats worst, LeBron scored 1 of his 33 points in the 4th quarter.

6.Tracy McGrady

He have been playing extremely poor after the streak ended. They lost 3 of the last 4 games and two of those game T-Mac didn't even reach 20 points. But, in the next 3 games he went 32, 35, 25. Thats good enough to keep him here. In the last three games, he averaged 30.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5 assist. That day against Minnesota, he had 11 boards and 9 assists too.

7.Steve Nash

No kidding, this guy is playing great especially last week and this week too. It is simple to tell you how well Nash is playing at the moment, firstly, 36 points, 3 boards and 8 assists, then, 17 points, 4 rebounds and 18 dishes, lastly, 14 points, 3 rebounds and 11 assists. He is playing well now and I do think he deserve his place.

8.Dwight Howard

This fellow is dropping, but the good thing is, he is dropping slowly. He had 3 points and 14 rebounds that day when they suffered defeat against the Wizards. Hedo Turkoglu is handling everything else to me.

9.Allen Iverson

To tell you the truth, he shouldn't be here but no one else is better then him too. He scored 31 points twice in the past 4 games. He is averaging 26.5 points and 7.2 assists. It is not easy to do this when a another equally good player like Carmelo Anthony is in your team. Example? Just look at T-Mac and Yao. Anyway, have you read the best Shooting Guards ever which was written like a few weeks ago? AI is the second best shooting guard that is still plainyg in that list.

10.Andre Igoudala

Andre is almost averaging 20 points per-game now. He had to double-double in a row and also a 30 points-game too. The 76ers have qualified for the playoffs too and most surprisingly, they are ahead of the Waizards and the Raptors. He will be a star in the future.

Running The Floor

Tim Duncan

Tim is playing well and consistent at the moment. Spurs are having a 7-game winning streak until something bad happens. This bad thing is the main reason why Tim drop all the way out of the list. Today, the Spurs only scored 64 points and Tim went 15-10-1. He will definitely be in the list next week.

Race To MVP

March 12 2008

1.Kobe Bryant

He still remains at the top of the MVP list. After losing that game against the Sacremento, my looks on Kobe has changed a little. Still, Lakers are on top of the Western Conference, even ahead of the Spurs and the Rockets. Kobe's averaging well, so I'll keep him here.

2.LeBron James

LeBron is playing well at the moment. He got his seventh triple double of the season yesterday in a 88-80 win. The top two players to have the most triple double in a season in the last 18 years is Jason Kidd 13(this season) and Grant Hill,13, more than a decade ago. It will not be long after LeBron catches Kobe.

3.Tracy McGrady

I decided to put him ahead of Chris Paul this week is because Houston is too ahead of New Orleans in the Western Conference. Other than that, T-Mac has won the Western Conference Player Of The Week, averaging 32.3 points, 7.7 assists and 5.0 rebounds. Also, he exploded for 41 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds last Sunday. Lastly, the Rockets are on a 19 game winning streak and 7 of them came without Yao's presence. It might just be too late for T-Mac to catch the top 2.

4.Chris Paul

If Chris Paul played like this in the seasons Steve Nash won, Chris Paul would've won. He's averaging fantastic stats for a point guard and he will definitely be in the top 5 this year. This week he loose out to T-Mac but I'm sure he will be 3rd again somehow.

5.Dwight Howard

Everyone has forgotten what a blockbuster season Dwight Howard is having. The way he is playing his basketball is still great. He is still one of the top rebounders and blockers and Orlando are playing well too. He is still the best big man today.

6.Tim Duncan

The San Antonio Spurs are the best team in the West at the moment. Tim is averaging very good too. After loosing to the Nuggets a few days ago, they came back by beating them again. Timmy, who erupted for 23 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in a win over the Nuggets on Monday. They won 11 in a row before it ended.

7.Deron Williams

This guy is rising quickly on my list. Since the All-Star break, D-Will has been the top point guard in the league. He has notched seven straight double-doubles and is currently the biggest reason for Utah's success.

8.Kevin Garne
tt

He was the 32nd player to score 20,000 points. Kevin Garnett will win the MVP if the MVP stands for "the best player from the best team of the season".

9.Steve Nash

The Suns have been struggling lately, but don't blame Nash who has 42 assists in the past three games. On Sunday, he torched the Spurs' Tony Parker for 19 points, 14 dimes and five rebounds.

10.Chris Bosh

Toronto are back! The team win-loose record is now above 50%. Infact, way above 50%. 34-28.
Chris Bosh is starting to play like last season which may lead him into the top 8. His average assist is higher than Dwight Howard or Amare Stoudemire too.

Running The Floor

Andre Iguodala

Led by Andre Iguodala, Philly has won 11 of its past 14 games to move within four games of .500 with a record of 29-33. Iguodala is the face of the franchise. He is averaging 19.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. The fourth-year forward burst on the scene when in this writer’s humble opinion he was robbed by the judges at the 2006 Slam Dunk Contest(Has Nate Robinson made his dunk yet?). As his statistics show, Iguodala, who is better suited to be a second option than a first, is more than just a high flyer. He is an above-average defender, uses his athleticism to run the floor and finish the break and rebounds well for his position.

T-Mac helps Rockets to 18th Straight win

Tracy McGrady exploded for 41 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds. I don't know whether LeBron or Mr. Kobe can do that. He added a wonderful, well timed alley-oop dunk, a pass received from Rafer Alston. Anyway, this is just a notice to next weeks R2MVP update. If T-Mac continues his streak, it won't be long for him to be top of the MVP list. Wait for next weeks R2MVP. Should be on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Race To MVP

March 7 2008

1.Kobe Bryant

Well, he is the best player in the league by far at the moment. Getting 52 points that day was fantastic. People might say that LeBron James is better in scoring, rebounding, assist and shooting percentage but winning percentage? Kobe's team is doing much more better than LeBron's team and it seems like they can win the West or maybe even giving Kobe his 4th Ring? They say that its Pau Gasol but you must know, without Pau, Lakers are still better than the Cavs. Kobe's last 10 games are better than LeBron's though.

2.LeBron James

If its not Kobe than its LeBron. James average stats this season is the best. He is leading the PRA score by miles ahead. The last time I've seen this PRA socre was by Kobe and T-Mac. LeBron who landed 89 points in 2 games only won 1 of them. This is why he is not leading. His team is not doing well.

3.Chris Paul

Chris Paul is doing well this season. His last 5 games wasn't that impressive but when he needs it, he will give it. He is the only player this season to score over 20 points, 10 assist and 2.5 steals. New Orleans are first in the Western Conference too. Who is the last guy to do this? Magic Johnson?

4.Dwight How
ard

There was one part of the season where Dwight Howard averages over 22 points, 15 rebounds and over 60% shooting. He settled down slowly and now averages worst. Still, Howard is playing better this season making Orlando the only team to challenge Boston and Detroit in the East.

5.Tim Duncan

You might say that Spurs are winning 11 in a row thanks to Manu Ginobilli or Tony Parker but to me its Tim. He is still the main guy, averaging double double in almost every game in the streak. When Tony is injured most of the time, and Ginobilli usually goes on and off, it all goes to Tim.

6. Tracy M
cGrady

17 in a row. A new franchise record and 7th in history. 5 of them came without Yao's presence. Tracy McGrady isn't averaging the best stat in his career but he is doing fine. Having scored 20 points and above in the last 4 games, he exploded for 31 points and 9 assists against the Mavs. The reason why he is not higher is due to his stats and he still receives help from Luis Scola, Shane Battier, Carl Landry and of course Rafer Alston. He's my favourite player though.

7. Allen Iverson

He is the 3rd top scorer behind Kobe and LeBron. His last 5 games has been not impressive scoring just 17 against Houston few days ago, but for a person to score over 27 points and assist over 7 a season?, its difficult.

8.Amare Stoudemire

To me he and Dwight Howard are the two best big man in the last 5 years. Averagin 23.9 points per game and over 9 rebounds, its not long once he averages and impressive double double this season. Ever since Shaq arrived, The Suns have not been playing well, but Stoudemire is. He is now playing at his favourite position after the center position is now covered by Shaq. If he starts next season like this, he will average around 26 points and 10 rebounds.

9.Deron Williams

I did not want to put him here this week, but he had a 19 assists and 20 assists in two games in a row this week. That's impressive. The Jazz are winning 16 straight home games in a row though. Without Deron, they might not even make it to 5.

10.Kevin Garnett

The Boston Celtics are in the playoffs already and mostly is because of KG. He is back from injury this week and he is having some fine stats. After the Celctics lost 4 in a row, they are back thanks to KG. If Boston were 4th or 5th, KG won't be anywhere around here because with his stats, he can't even beat Al Jefferson.

Running The Floor

Chris Bosh

Toronto are now 5th, behind the Big Four, and Chris Bosh is alone there. He might received some help from Calderon, but he is the main reason why there are winning. His shooting fantasticly too.

McGrady back in NBA and in SCHOOL

McGrady (NBA) 11 games injured
McGrady (StJohn) 11 weeks injured

Tracy McGrady got back to action on Sunday. He told reporters that he was 75% fit, so the coach decided to let him play for 27 minutes. After a good fourth quarter, Houston won the game, thanks to a buzzer beater miss by Olberto I think. With Yao on the bench, Alston hit a 3-pointer and then picked off a pass and fed McGrady for a one-handed dunk on consecutive possessions to put Houston up 66-61. McGrady ended the game with 9 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

The same story happened in StJohns, Monday. Tracy McGrady got back from injury and he was not fully fit, thats why he did not bring his PJ clothes. He ended the game poorly, losing the game by 2 points. He ended on a 0 of 6 field goals attempted which is 0% shooting. A poor day at the office by McGrady had salt added to injury after Henry was in the same team as well.

Please watch this your whole life!

I created this video. Damn superb!

First entry

Well, this is my first entry for my latest blog so.. nevermind.
I was quite geram today when a few things happen.

Saturday. 5.1.2008

On Saturday evening, around dinner time, I was watching Snakes on a Plane on TV. Then, suddenly, the computer man from the computer shop came to my house to fix my wireless modem. Wireless Modem - allows you to use the internet around the whole house and also connects up my computer with my laptop.
It seems like when the guy came, he didn't manage to fix it. So, he decided to bring it back to his shop and fix it there. (Ada effect oleh kerana ini)

Sunday. 6.1.2008

Around before lunch time, I decided to play DotA with my sis. Sadly, I just remembered, without my wireless modem, I can't connect the Laptop and the Computer together. So, I can't play LAN game DotA with my sis! Moreover, my hamachi is stuck, no Battlenet or Blueserver!
So I decided to play NBA 2007 with my sis. But!, I also realize that my gamepad is spoilt. So, I can't play NBA either. So, I decided to play NBA by myself. Well, I did something different today. Usually when I play NBA, I will play 4 minutes per quarter = 16 minutes. Usually when I do this, the opponent (CPU) will just wait with thier point guard doing nothing. Because of this, My game usually ends at around 80 points. So, I decided to make it a real game! 12 minutes per quarter = 48 minutes. Then something stupid happened. Usually the point guard will get stuck, but this time, the point guard decided to go all the way to the rim and dunk. So the game turned out to be around 170 points per team. Huhuhu! Anyway, I controlled West vs East and I won, and Tony Parker was the MVP although he did not play the longest. Tracy McGrady and Carmelo Anthony both finish with 28 minutes/48 minutes. Supriseingly these to players were the ones to play the longest. Kobe Bryant finish with 27 minutes.
